The Map to the right claims to show Cairo in the 15 th Century. Cairo's famous features cannot be recognized here, and there are no accurate representations for the city. According to Michael Bury, the same city view was also used on folio LXII verso, where it is said to represent "Bysantium" before Constantine rebuilt it.
