Adobe has developed a file format, known as PDF, which allows for transfer
of documents without loss of original formatting. A file is in PDF format if
it ends with .PDF. To view PDF files, Adobe provides Acrobat Reader free of
charge. Acrobat Reader is part of our standard setup, so most new computers
will have Acrobat Reader.
If you do not have Acrobat Reader, please go to
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
to download Acrobat Reader as provided by Adobe.
The PDF format has become increasing popular and will continue to do so because
of the versatility it provides to Web users. If you have any questions concerning
this format, please go to the Adobe Home Page
for more information or ask the IAS-CSS
staff.
