Rotary World Peace Scholars, Class 2003- 2005

1. Rajiv Bora, rajivbora@yahoo.com, India - Political Science
Rajiv hopes to work at the highest level of decision and policy-making in the Indian national government or with an international agency such as the United Nations.

2. Alan Bull, alanbull@berkeley.edu, Brazil - Certificate Program
Alan would like to continue working for social and environmental issues and is particularly interested in implementing educational programs involving alternative agricultural practices in developing countries.

3. Renia Corocoto, rcorocoto_opap@hotmail.com, Philippines - Political Science
Renia has been a consultant to the Philippine government as well as a legislative staff officer. She hopes to continue working in humanitarian assistance after her Rotary World Peace Scholarship.

4. Ji-hyang Lee, leejh@berkeley.edu, Korea - Asian Studies
After completing her Rotary World Peace Scholarship, Ji-hyang will use her knowledge to help empower community resources, including youth, to facilitate peace and to mediate conflict.

5. Stella Margetic, smmargetic@hotmail.com, Argentina - LLM/Boalt
Stella has worked with the United Nations Mission of Peace in Angola and after completing her Rotary World Peace Scholarship, Stella plans to use her knowledge and language skills to mediate conflicts at the international level.

6. Anne-Sophie Massa, asmassa@berkeley.edu, Belgium - LLM/Boalt
In addition to holding a bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree in international law, she has lectured in areas of international humanitarian law and the criminal justice. She is interested in a career defending human rights worldwide.

7 . Lilian Pedrosa, lilian_pedrosa@hotmail.com, Brazil - Social Welfare
Lilian's experience as a Rotary Group Study Exchange team member will add to her effectiveness as an international advocate of peace.

8. Sarah Williams, sarah_w@berkeley.edu, England - Political Science
Sarah is a lawyer, who earned her master's degree in law from the London School of Economics, and her interests include international peace negotiation.
